Upon meeting the client, we meticulously evaluated the designs and conducted precise measurements, ensuring thorough preparation. This particular kitchen, comprising a basic L-shaped layout with an island. The clients boiler is also situated in the corner adjacent to the window which needed to be boxed. Additionally, the client opted for underfloor heating, necessitating special attention to ensure the island’s stability. The kitchen has been extended and was plastered when we attended the property to conduct our pre installation visit which made the process all the more smoother.

Before commencing the kitchen installation, all preparatory tasks proceeded seamlessly, granting us a conducive working environment. Starting from the corner of the L-shaped layout, we expanded outward, adjusting the original plans to accommodate a last-minute change to the position of the island. This alteration ensured optimal space utilization without compromising functionality.

Like many projects, unforeseen circumstances arose, causing minor delays. An unexpected alteration to the wall units due to electrical considerations required swift action. We promptly assisted the client in redesigning the area and expedited the procurement of a replacement unit to minimize disruption, even personally retrieving it to maintain installation progress.

We installed upstands around the the kitchen including around the pilar and added a large piece for the splashback behind the hob wall which undoubtedly enhancing the kitchen’s aesthetic appeal. The client also opted for undercabinet lighting with cornices and deco strips as final touches. We also put together some end panels and worktop to create a mini utility in a room just off the main kitchen.

Upon project completion, we conducted a thorough walkthrough to ensure the client’s satisfaction and provided a comprehensive end-of-project report for sign-off. Additionally, we scheduled a one-month follow-up visit to address any lingering concerns. Acknowledging the client’s previous challenges with suppliers and tradespeople, we offered a thoughtful gesture—a small hamper containing tea bags, jams, and other kitchen essentials—to express our appreciation and commitment to their satisfaction.

Despite not undertaking supplementary works, our dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience remained unwavering throughout the project. We eagerly anticipate embarking on more transformative endeavours in the future.
